Wainwright captures a sense of our common humanity in both that moment and the enduring memory. Talking New Bob Dylan takes a typically humorous look at the fact that Wainwright was branded a new Bob Dylan when he emerged around 1970 (a fate which befell scores of guitar-toting male singer/songwriters at the time).
